Swiss pays homage to women at high altitudes
An all-female crew for International Women's Day, to promote diversity and equal opportunities in aviation
Swiss is celebrating 8 March by operating a flight between Zurich and Gothenburg with an all-female team, from the cockpit to the cabin. Ground operations will also be largely managed by female staff, in recognition of their role in the aviation sector.
With this initiative, the company reaffirms its commitment to diversity. More than 5% of Swiss pilots are women, and the number is constantly growing thanks to dedicated training programs.
