Swiss expands pre-selection of Business Class meals
Business Class passengers on Swiss short- and medium-haul flights will now be able to choose additional dishes before their flight, with a free option that also promotes food sustainability
Business Class passengers on Swiss's short-haul flights can enjoy the meal pre-selection option, a complimentary service that allows them to choose from additional main courses before their flight. This offer, which includes hot or cold dishes depending on the destination, is renewed every three months to ensure constant variety. The option is available on most short and medium-haul flights departing after 10 am.
Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) has extended this option, which has already been active for over two years on long-haul flights, to short and medium-haul flights. Known as "Pre-Select", this feature allows passengers to choose from a wider range of meals, tailoring the flight experience to their personal tastes.
On flights of more than one hour to and from Zurich Airport, passengers will be able to choose from six cold dishes, accompanied by cheese and dessert. On longer flights, the choice expands to seven hot dishes, including a dish from the famous "Swiss Taste of Switzerland" menu, usually only available on long-haul flights. Hot meals also include cheese, dessert, and a salad, and the selection will be updated quarterly.
