Qatar Airways launches new Formula 1® livery
During the extraordinary weekend of the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, the Doha-based company wrote a new chapter in the encounter between aviation, sport and creativity. Qatar Airways (Title Partner of Formula 1®) has unveiled its new official livery dedicated to the world of racing, signed by the artist and music producer Swizz Beatz, the undisputed protagonist of one of the most anticipated events on the F1® calendar.
A spectacular flyover over the Lusail circuit
The weekend was already heated up before the Sprint Race, when thousands of spectators turned their eyes to the sky to watch the commemorative overflight of the Qatar Airways aircraft over the Lusail International Circuit.
An iconic moment, made even more surprising by the live broadcast thanks to Starlink's "gate-to-gate" high-speed Wi-Fi, which allowed media and invited guests to share the experience live from inside the Boeing 777.
A revelation between celebrity and impactful scenography
The official reveal took place in the company's hangar in Doha, transformed for the occasion into a motorsport-themed urban stage. Introducing the scene was Kevin Hart who, in the ironic role of a Formula 1® driver, staged spectacular "doughnuts" in front of an enthusiastic audience. The event attracted globally renowned guests and ambassadors: David Beckham, Jessica Alba, Rio Ferdinand, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Swizz Beatz and Novak Djokovic, who were present to celebrate a moment that combines design, technology and passion for flying.
"A livery destined to become iconic"
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, highlighted how the innovative Formula 1® livery has captured international attention to the point of becoming, in just 24 hours, one of the most tracked aircraft in the world on Flightradar24. A spontaneous recognition that confirms the carrier's ability to transform travel into a cultural experience, as well as an operational one.
A Boeing 777 ready to touch the capitals of the world
The company (elected Best Airline in the World by Skytrax in 2025 for the ninth time) has announced that the Boeing 777 with the new livery will fly, throughout the winter season, to some of the most popular destinations for Travellers: London, Melbourne, New York and Tokyo.
