More flights between Melbourne and Dubai with Emirates
From March 30, 2025, the company introduces the third non-stop flight between Australia and Dubai with the modernized Boeing 777
Emirates has announced the launch of a third daily non-stop flight between Dubai and Melbourne, operating from 30 March 2025. This new connection will be made with the newly refurbished Boeing 777-300ER , which introduces a four-class configuration, including the award-winning Premium Economy and new Business Class seats.
Currently, Emirates operates two daily direct flights on this route with four-class Airbus A380s , as well as a daily service via Singapore with the Boeing 777-300ER. With the introduction of the new direct flight, the Singapore-Melbourne route will be discontinued and a fourth direct flight between Dubai and Singapore will be inaugurated, with new flight codes. The airline specified that customers affected by the change in the Singapore-Melbourne route will be contacted for alternative solutions or a full refund.

For nearly 30 years, Emirates has been a mainstay of air travel in Australia, employing hundreds of Australian citizens and partnering with local businesses. With more than $230 million invested in sports and arts sponsorships (such as the Australian Open and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra), the company actively supports the country's economic and cultural fabric. The recent Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), signed between the UAE and Australia, further strengthens economic ties between the two countries, while Emirates' cargo operations support trade flows of more than 2,350 tonnes per week. Through our decade-long partnership with Qantas, passengers can access a shared network of more than 120 destinations, driving the development of tourism, trade and international investment.
