Ita Airways restores the connection between Rome and Tel Aviv
ITA Airways, starting from 1 January 2026, restores the connection between Rome (Fiumicino) and Tel Aviv (Ben Gurion Airport), initially operating two daily frequencies with schedules allowing convenient connections to/from Tel Aviv with ITA Airways network destinations through the Rome Fiumicino hub.
- AZ806 departing from Rome Fiumicino at 09:15 and arriving in Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 13:35 local time;
- AZ807 departing from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 14:55 and arriving at Rome Fiumicino at 17:40 Italian time;
- AZ810 departing from Rome Fiumicino at 10:50 pm and arriving at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion airport at 3:10 am local time the following day;
- AZ809 departure from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion at 5:15 local time with arrival at Rome Fiumicino at 8:05 Italian time.
The connection will be operated with the Airbus A321neo, the first narrow-body aircraft in the ITA Airways fleet configured with three distinct cabins: Business Class (with full flat-bed seats), Premium Economy and Economy. The A321neo offers range, efficiency and high-end performance, with fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions per seat more than 20% lower than previous-generation aircraft. It offers spacious, elegant interiors in perfect Italian style, equipped with advanced lighting and entertainment systems in 4K resolution.
