From today, thanks to Accesrail technology, it is possible to purchase flight and train connections with a single transaction and connect the main Italian cities served by the high-speed rail service Frecciarossa with Fiumicino Airport while comfortably switching from train to plane and vice versa.
In addition, thanks to the collaboration with Aeroporti di Roma (Rome, Italy), a dedicated ITA Airways Check-in desk is available starting today in Fiumicino Airport rail station for passengers arriving to the airport by train on a Frecciarossa, or a Leonardo Express in conjunction with a high-speed train to Roma Termini, who are continuing their trip to an international or intercontinental destinations in ITA Airways network. After the initial start-up phase, the partners will officially present the new product at the end of April.
