ITA Airways expands Miles&More benefits

From May, new benefits for all levels of the loyalty programme: more options for using miles, more flexibility on flight awards and new services for families and status customers

Starting from May, ITA Airways expands the benefits package reserved for passengers enrolled in Miles&More, the loyalty program to which the company officially joined as a fully integrated partner from 1 April. The update concerns all levels of the program (Member, Frequent Traveller, Senator and HON Circle) and is part of the path launched in 2025 to progressively harmonize services and benefits within the Lufthansa Group ecosystem.

For passengers, the main novelty is the increase in the possibilities of redeeming miles. The new benefits include Premium Economy flight awards , a wider range of upgrades with miles or eVouchers, and monthly "Mileage Bargains" promotional offers on selected routes.

The program also introduces new solutions designed to make travel more accessible to families, including the "Child Award", while additional flexibility and service options are added for customers with higher status. Senator and HON Circle members can count on, among other things, a booking guarantee even on sold-out flights, the possibility of booking "Companion Award" flights and the free transport of golf equipment.

In addition, HON Circle members will have more flight awards available. Part of the status benefits will also be extended to a companion travelling with the HON Circle member in the same booking.

These new benefits are in addition to those already introduced in recent months, including priority on the waiting list and at the airport, fast track, additional baggage and lounge access, thus completing an important phase in the integration process between ITA Airways and Miles&More.
