PEG Airport

Perugia

The Perugia-Umbria “San Francesco d’Assisi” International Airport is situated in the Sant’Egidio district 12 km from Assisi and 15 km from Perugia. The increase in passenger numbers recorded over the last few years and the strategic position of the airport has led to an expansion of the infrastructure, which today covers an area of 5,000 square metres with a modern terminal, designed by Gae Aulenti, to take over 500,000 passengers per year. Flights for national and European destinations and scheduled summer charters depart from the airport.
