ITA Airways flies with Umbria Jazz

The company is the official sponsor of the festival scheduled in Perugia from 3 to 12 July 2026 and celebrates the partnership with music on board, initiatives at the airport and dedicated activities during the event

ITA Airways is the official sponsor of Umbria Jazz 2026, the international festival dedicated to jazz music scheduled in Perugia from 3 to 12 July.

To inaugurate the partnership, ITA Airways brought music directly into the air. Passengers on the AZ2045 Milan Linate-Rome Fiumicino connection attended a special musical show created with the marching band Funk Off, transforming the journey into a preview of the atmosphere of Umbria Jazz.

The performance also continued at Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport, with a traveling exhibition up to ITA Airways' Hangar Lounge, Terminal 1. Here the guests present were able to attend a dedicated mini-concert, designed to bring the energy of the festival to the airport spaces as well.

ITA Airways' presence will then continue in Perugia for the entire duration of the event. The concept chosen by the company is The Sound of Connections, a story that relates travel and music, destinations and encounters, creative freedom and discovery of territories.

During Umbria Jazz, ITA Airways will be present with an experiential space in Piazza Italia and with the ITA Airways Jazz Lounge, where the public will be able to get closer to the world of the company through interactive activities and moments of engagement inspired by the dialogue between flight and music. Among the planned initiatives is also the exclusive titling of Gilberto Gil's concert at the Santa Giuliana Arena and the screening of dedicated video content.
