EgyptAir and Trenitalia launch the integrated air+train ticket between Italy and Egypt

A single ticket connects flights from Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino with the main Italian railway routes, simplifying travel between the two countries until June 2026

A new way of travelling between Italy and Egypt is taking shape thanks to the partnership between EGYPTAIR, Egypt's national airline, and Trenitalia, the leader in Italian rail transport. The two companies have launched an integrated air+train ticket that allows EGYPTAIR's international routes to be combined with the main Italian railway routes in a single booking, simplifying connections and offering a smoother travel experience.

The agreement, valid until 30 June 2026, applies to train travel departing from major Italian cities (such as Florence, Bologna, Naples, Turin and Venice) to Milan Malpensa or Rome Fiumicino, from which EGYPTAIR international flights depart to Egypt and beyond.

The single ticket, available for specific fares and booking classes, can be purchased at the EGYPTAIR offices in Rome and Milan or through authorized travel agencies. After purchase, passengers will receive the integrated ticket by email and will be able to check in online at https://check-in.accesrail.com within 72 hours of departure. The system is synchronized with the opening of air check-in, allowing for simple and coordinated travel management.

All information on fares, rules and booking conditions is already available in the EGYPTAIR pricing system and can be accessed or used by following the usual booking procedures.
