Emirates Skywards is expanding the possibilities for using Miles with Skywards Rail, the new service that allows loyalty programme members to purchase rail tickets to more than 12,000 destinations in Europe.

In Italy, the novelty expands the opportunities for high-speed travel and also includes the Rome-Milan route, which can be booked from 8,100 Skywards Miles.

Members can check schedules, travel class and ticket type, paying in full with Miles or using a combination of cash and Miles. You can also buy train tickets for family and friends.

Other available routes include:

  • Rome-Milan from 8,100 Miles
  • Barcelona-Madrid from 5,400 Miles,
  • London-Paris from 9,400 Miles,
  • Berlin-Frankfurt from 4,100 Miles
  • 4,700 Miles Heathrow Express.

Skywards Rail is expanding the use of Miles beyond air travel and allowing members to create more integrated itineraries, whether they continue by train after an Emirates or flydubai flight or to new European destinations.

In Italy, the service complements the intermodal train+air solutions already available through Emirates channels. These allow rail and air travel to be combined in a single booking and provide free rerouting in the event of disruptions that compromise the connection.

Founded in 2000, Emirates Skywards now has over 39 million members in 190 countries and continues to expand the way Miles can be redeemed, transforming the loyalty programme into an ever-expanding tool for the entire travel experience.
