Eurochocolate 2024 celebrates 30 Years
From 15 to 24 November, the Perugia International Festival celebrates its thirtieth anniversary with special events, artistic performances and the birth of the International Observatory on Cocoa and Chocolate
Eurochocolate, the famous International Cocoa and Chocolate Festival, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with a special edition to be held in the heart of Perugia from 15 to 24 November 2024. With the claim "On everyone's lips", this edition celebrates not only the history and success of the festival, but also its ability to continuously renew itself, involving an increasingly large audience.

Piazza IV Novembre in Perugia will be the beating heart of the event, hosting an original scenography with mouth-shaped sofas and a collection of themed chocolates, created in collaboration with Maître Chocolatier Alice Cianuri. This space will also become the focal point for the signing of the birth of the International Observatory on Cocoa and Chocolate, an ambitious project aimed at promoting the quality of cocoa and chocolate globally, which will see the participation of experts and producers from all over the world.

The entire city of Perugia will be enlivened by ten days of chocolate celebration, with traveling shows, artistic performances, concerts and the participation of the Choco Buskers, a group of street artists who will entertain the public with unique and engaging performances.
The festival will extend along Corso Vannucci and the surrounding streets with the Chocolate Show, which will offer a wide selection of chocolate from Italian and international artisans. Eurochocolate World, in collaboration with Cacao Solution, will host "bean to bar" and "tree to bar" producers from all over the world, including Colombia, Madagascar, Brazil and many other nations, for a total of 40 participating brands.
Another important initiative is Equochocolate by Costruttori di Dolcezze, which renews the festival's commitment to social and economic sustainability, supporting small cocoa producers. This year the project will involve the company Auro from the Philippines, which will present a new line of bean to bar bars.

There will also be ChocoLab activities at the former Commodity Exchange, where industry experts will hold tastings and training meetings for adults and children, also involving the city's schools in educational courses on the world of cocoa.
This special anniversary not only marks a milestone for Eurochocolate, but is also a bridge to the future, with the presentation of the City of Chocolate, the new experiential and museum center that will open in summer 2025 in the spaces of the former Covered Market. During the festival, visitors will be able to participate in guided tours of the construction site and support the project through dedicated crowdfunding, which will also contribute to the creation of the International Observatory on Cocoa and Chocolate.
Perugia is therefore preparing to become, once again, the world capital of chocolate, attracting the attention of thousands of enthusiasts and tourists. An unmissable event that will combine tradition, innovation and sweetness, making autumn 2024 an unforgettable time for all Chocolovers!
