New premium lounge at Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport expands Terminal 2 services with The Executive by Escape Lounges, a new premium lounge designed for those who want to start their journey in a quieter and more cared for environment, regardless of the airline or class booked.
Designed by CAVU, a Manchester Airports Group company, the lounge combines spaces inspired by the city's identity with a chef-developed dining offer. The service includes freshly prepared dishes, show cooking, coffee shop with baristas and what is billed as the first carvery inside a UK airport lounge.
Five areas dedicated to catering
The Executive is divided into five rooms, each with a different proposal. Bakery, pastries and snacks are served at Leaf & Loaf ; The Humm offers light dishes and deli-style specialties; at The Loom you will find hot food, an open kitchen and the carvery.
For those who prefer a more formal experience, The Boll will offer table service with chef-curated menus. This formula will be bookable by the end of the year and, initially, will be reserved for passengers of affiliated airlines.
The offer also enhances the productions of Manchester and the territory, with cheeses from Chorlton Cheesemongers, coffee from Ground Effect Coffee Roasters, gin from the Spirit of Manchester Distillery, JW Lees beers, products from Martins Bakery and Grandpa Greene's ice creams.
Manchester-inspired design
The connection to the city continues in the interiors, decorated with works by local artists and references to Manchester's industrial, textile and cultural history. Among the details are motifs inspired by the bee, the symbol of the city, art installations and stories dedicated to local protagonists.
Before reaching the gate, passengers can also use the "One Last Treat" vending machine, which through special tokens assigns sweets, prizes and future free experiences.
Access and Pricing
The lounge is located in Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport and is open to all passengers departing from the terminal. Admission can be booked online or requested directly on site, subject to availability. Prices start at £57.99 per person for the buffet experience. The formula with dinner and table service will instead have an initial cost of 82.99 pounds per person.
For those departing from Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport, the new lounge is therefore an alternative to the common areas of the airport, with greater tranquility, more articulated catering and services designed to spend the wait before the flight in a more comfortable way.
