Lufthansa reopens its lounge in Stuttgart
After a major renovation, the Lufthansa Lounge at Stuttgart Airport reopened on 16 December 2025 with a completely redesigned concept to offer Travellers a more comfortable and personalised experience.
The lounge is divided into two distinct areas (Business Lounge and Senator Lounge) accessible via an automated digital system. The spaces have been designed to meet the different needs of passengers, with areas dedicated to work, reading, breaks, privacy and refreshment areas equipped with a wide selection of food, drinks, magazines and newspapers.
In the Senator Lounge there is also a café bar where specialties prepared with beans from a local roastery are served.
The new design complements the Lufthansa brand identity with elements that recall the industrial and dynamic character of Stuttgart, through materials, shapes and architectural solutions inspired by the concepts of dynamic, industrial and mobile.
Stuttgart Airport (STR) is served by the Lufthansa Group with more than 60 destinations in 21 countries, mainly via the airlines Lufthansa and Eurowings, with Austrian Airlines and SWISS rounding out the offer. In 2025, the company celebrated its 70th anniversary of operations at the Baden-Württemberg airport.
