Torino Airport inaugurates its richest winter season
Torino Airport is preparing to experience the most intense winter season in its history, confirming itself as a dynamic, connected and increasingly central airport in the European airport network.
On Sunday 26 October, Turin Airport's 2025/2026 winter season will kick off, the largest ever scheduled in terms of seats offered and routes operated by different airlines. The strengthening of the network is driven by the arrival of the third Ryanair aircraft based in Turin, new destinations to Eastern Europe, an ever-growing snow offer and a significant increase in frequencies on many routes.
With 20 countries connected, 12 new routes, 7 new destinations and 15 destinations - 8 of which international - with more frequencies, Torino Airport consolidates its role as a hub of the North-West and gateway to the Alps, becoming a reference point for winter tourism and leisure travel.
The arrival of the third Ryanair aircraft allows the strengthening of existing routes and the opening of the new connection with Liverpool, as well as the confirmation of the flight to Pescara also for the entire winter season. The network also expands to Eastern Europe: Wizz Air will inaugurate new flights to Sofia and Budapest on 28 October, while connections to Chisinau, operated by Wizz Air and FlyOne, will start on 13 December. Also new is the new route to Bucharest (Baneasa), which joins the one to Bucharest Otopeni.
Snow destinations and winter destinations in Northern Europe
The 2025/2026 season also marks an expansion of the "snow network" dedicated to skiers: from 20 December Aer Lingus will connect Turin and Dublin up to twice a week, while SAS will inaugurate a new flight to Copenhagen.
They are also reconfirmed as the most popular winter destinations in Northern Europe, including Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, London (Luton), Manchester, Shannon and Warsaw.
More flights and destinations for the holiday season
During the Christmas holidays , the Neos (Alpitour World) connection to Sharm el Sheikh, the queen destination of the Red Sea, will be operational again.
In parallel, the winter season will see a sharp increase in frequencies to other destinations: British Airways will increase flights to London (Gatwick), Ryanair will enhance routes to Brussels (Charleroi), Copenhagen, London (Stansted), Madrid, Malta, Marrakech, Porto and Seville, while Wizz Air will strengthen flights to Tirana.
Italian destinations
On the domestic front, frequencies to Bari, Brindisi, Cagliari, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Trapani and Naples will increase, while Volotea will introduce two weekly flights to Paris (Orly).
Flights to European hubs and onward to destinations around the world
The picture is completed by multi-day connections with the main airports, European and intercontinental hubs: Rome (ITA Airways), Amsterdam (KLM), Frankfurt and Munich (Air Dolomiti), Madrid (Iberia), Paris - Charles de Gaulle (Air France), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) and Casablanca (Royal Air Maroc) which provide services from the airport of Turin connections with the whole world.
