In fact, Delta is reaching new heights at New York's LaGuardia Airport with the latest enhancements to its Terminal C, part of the $4 billion transformation carried out in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Operating over 220 daily departures from LGA, Delta is the airport's primary carrier, offering extensive connections and a convenient travel option for New Yorkers on the go.

One of the most popular new features in Terminal C is the open-air sky deck, a fresh and modern addition to the airport design. The terrace offers passengers a panoramic view of the runway, the planes taking off and landing, and a welcome breath of fresh air before boarding. A unique space that offers a moment of tranquility and contact with the outside in the heart of the Big Apple.

Excellent catering
In true New York style, Terminal C takes dining very seriously. The dining options reflect the city's culinary diversity, with the likes of Bubby's, Chuko Ramen, and King David Tacos. For a meal served at the table, Calista Taverna offers Greek flavors, while Sunday Supper evokes traditional Italian-American cuisine. There is no shortage of cocktails at the Terrace Bar, breakfast at Eggy Weggy or Poppy's Bagels, and nightly snacks at Essex Burger or Rossi Pizzeria (the latter developed with the famous pizza chef Mark Iacono di Lucali). Authentic flavors of New York served from morning to midnight, just steps from the gate.

Terminal C blends aesthetics and functionality with an unmistakably New York style. Centralized security controls avoid long and disorienting paths, while large windows let in natural light. The public artworks, curated in collaboration with the Queens Museum, transform the terminal into a place of culture: from Rashid Johnson's large mosaic, to Mariam Ghani's ceramic tribute dedicated to the more than 700 languages spoken in the region, to Aliza Nisenbaum's portrait depicting Delta and airport staff. Even the chandeliers, made from old lights of the city skyline, evoke the ingenuity typical of New Yorkers.

Check-in and relaxation
In Terminal C at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA), the TSA PreCheck Touchless ID (formerly Digital ID) system, available to SkyMiles® members enrolled in TSA PreCheck®, allows you to check in your baggage and pass through security with facial recognition. Fewer queues, fewer screens to touch and more time to enjoy airport services. Among the novelties: a silent sensory room with a mock-up cabin to familiarize yourself with flying, areas for the relief of domestic animalsand an interfaith chapel for moments of reflection before or after take-off.
