New connection to Boston from Malpensa
Four weekly flights with connections across the North American network
Starting May 24, 2025, Delta Air Lines will launch a new direct flight from Milan Malpensa to Boston, operated four times a week in addition to the already active routes between Milan and the US cities of New York (JFK) and Atlanta, further strengthening the company's presence in Italy.
"2025 will represent significant growth for Delta in the Italian market, with a significant expansion of transatlantic routes," said Matteo Curcio, Delta's senior vice president for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. "We are excited to connect Milan to Boston, offering Italian travelers direct access to this historic American city, the starting point for discovering all of North America."
Customers departing from Milan will have the opportunity to take advantage of Delta's hub in Boston and continue to numerous other destinations in North America. This new flight helps consolidate Milan Malpensa's role as a strategic gateway for Delta, strengthening trade and tourism relations between Italy and the United States.
"We are pleased to welcome the new connection between Milan and Boston," said Andrea Tucci, Vice President Aviation Business Development of SEA Aeroporti di Milano. "With three destinations and four daily flights, Delta is positioned as a leader on transatlantic routes from Milan for Summer 2025."
Delta will offer customers a superior in-flight experience with its Delta One cabins, featuring lie-flat seats, Missoni toiletries and gourmet menus. Delta Premium Select will provide more space and comfort, while all cabins will be equipped with free Wi-Fi and access to a wide selection of entertainment through Delta Studio.
The airline is also enhancing the pre-flight experience with the opening of new Delta One Lounges, which offer exclusive spaces for pre-departure relaxation. After New York JFK, these lounges will also be opened in Los Angeles, Boston and Seattle, offering travelers a high-level welcome.
