First winter flight from Milan Bergamo Airport to Sharm el Sheikh
Operated by the Albastar airline, the flight is for the entire winter season 2021/22 and the summer season 2022
As well as marking the beginning of the winter schedules, Sunday 31 October will also see the recommencement of charter flights between Sharm el Sheikh and Milan Bergamo Airport.
The first winter flight to the most popular destination on the Red Sea will be operated on behalf of the Domina Travel Tour Operator by the airline Albastar, which will be programming flights for the entire 21/22 winter season and the 2022 summer season.
The charter flight will be served by one of the five Boeing 737-800 NGs, set up with 189 seats in a single class category from the Albastar fleet, which has been running a long-term base from Milan Bergamo Airport, from where it will also begin running routes to Marsa Alam from 19 December.
“As with the recommencement of other flights to more traditional holiday destinations, this is a sign of the desire to reopen suspended tourist routes that were suspended due to the outbreak of the pandemic and which can now once again be operated safely - stated Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation for SACBO - We consider the decision of Domina Travel to once again offer flights to Sharm el Sheikh with the support of Albastar, an airline specialised in the charter sector, to be an encouraging sign”.
