At Ancona airport new flights to Rome and Milan
Ancona Airport and the airline DAT A/S, the new assignee of the regional tender, announce the activation, starting from Monday 3 November, of scheduled connections from Ancona to Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate.
Flights from Ancona International Airport provide double daily frequency, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays on the route to Rome and Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesday afternoons to Milan. A schedule that allows the round trip in the same day. A 48-seat ATR42-500 will be used to operate the routes, an ideal turboprop aircraft for this type of connection and compliant with the latest environmental regulations.
The company is defining the departure and arrival times, in particular on Rome Fiumicino, in compliance with the bands provided for in the tender, so as to ensure convenient national and international connections thanks to the agreements already in place with airlines such as Lufthansa, Emirates, Qatar Airways, SAS and Finnair. DAT has also expressed interest in finalizing an agreement with ITA Airways, so as to offer passengers full access to all services available at Fiumicino.
