Wizz Air launches Lamezia Terme-Warsaw connection

Wizz Air expands its presence in Calabria by introducing a new route between Lamezia Terme and Warsaw, operated from April 2026. The connection – available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – will be made with the Airbus A321neo, a new generation aircraft known for comfort, efficiency and low emissions. 

 

The announcement is part of the carrier's growth plan at Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF), which today has five international connections thanks to the new routes to Sofia, Katowice, Bratislava and Budapest, operational between November 2025 and April 2026. 

 

Wizz Air's new flight will facilitate the arrival of Travellers interested in discovering Lamezia Terme and the Calabrian territory, as well as offering direct access to the Polish capital, a city rich in history and culture. Warsaw, often referred to as "the Phoenix City", enchants with its UNESCO World Heritage Old Town, the Royal Castle, Łazienki Park and a vibrant food scene that ranges from traditional pierogi to sernik, the famous Polish cheesecake.
