Wizz Air flies from Rome to Hurghada
Flights are operated from Fiumicino airport and will start on 3 June 2025 with a frequency of twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays
Wizz Air inaugurates a new connection between Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Hurghada (HRG), with the first flight scheduled for June 3, 2025. Flights will be operated twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday. Starting in July, the route will be maintained with departures on Mondays and Fridays.
With this new route, Wizz Air continues to expand its offer from Rome Fiumicino, after recently reaching the milestone of 20 million passengers at the Capitoline airport. Hurghada thus joins the company's Egyptian network, which already includes Cairo, Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheikh, further consolidating its presence in Egypt's tourism market.
Hurghada, located on the stunning Red Sea coast, is one of Egypt's top tourist destinations, famous for its golden sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and spectacular coral reefs. Snorkelers and divers will find a true marine paradise here, while the vibrant nightlife, luxury resorts and numerous activities – from quad biking in the desert to walks in local markets – offer experiences for all tastes. With warm and sunny weather throughout the year, Hurghada is ideal for those seeking relaxation or adventure.
All flights will be operated with the modern Airbus A321neo, the most environmentally friendly and high-performance aircraft in its class, confirming Wizz Air's commitment to promoting more sustainable aviation.
