Volotea's flight to Murcia makes its debut in Venice
New international route for Volotea from Venice Marco Polo Airport: from 28 June 2026 the direct connection to Murcia, Spain, will be active, with flights every Wednesday and Sunday and over 7,500 seats on sale.
Murcia, in southeastern Spain, is an ideal destination for those seeking sea, culture and a Mediterranean climate, as well as a privileged access point to the Costa Cálida.
Strengthening of the Venetian network
2026 marks an important development for Volotea in Venice, with:
- the arrival of a second aircraft based on
- new routes to Greece: Corfu (from 27 June, every Saturday) and Rhodes (from 2 July, every Thursday)
- +60% increase in places in Olbia
- doubling of frequencies to Karpathos (from one to two weekly).
For summer 2026, Volotea's Venetian network has 23 destinations in 4 countries:
- 7 in Italy: Cagliari, Catania, Lampedusa, Naples, Olbia, Palermo, Pantelleria
- 6 in France: Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Toulouse
- 8 in Greece: Athens, Corfu (new 2026), Karpathos, Mykonos, Rhodes (new 2026), Santorini, Skiathos, Zakynthos
- 2 in Spain: Bilbao and Murcia (new in 2026)
