Transavia celebrates 60 years with a retro livery
Transavia's new Airbus A321neo has taken off for the first time, featuring an elegant retro livery inspired by the 60s, in homage to the Dutch company's 60th anniversary. The so-called "Flight 1" (F1) represents a fundamental phase of the testing process: a test flight performed by Airbus to verify the efficiency and safety of all on-board systems, from taxiing to landing.
During the test, Airbus technicians and pilots analyse every operational detail. After this first step, a second joint flight with the Transavia team will follow to replicate the controls and give the green light to the official delivery of the aircraft.
The special livery recalls the original style of the 60s, in a perfect combination of tradition and innovation: the new A321neo, in fact, is among the most technologically advanced, thanks to more sustainable performance, greater fuel efficiency and reduced noise.
The arrival of the special A321neo is scheduled for Friday 25 July at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, with a dedicated flight identified by the number HV1965, a tribute to the year the company was founded.
With this new entry, Transavia's Airbus A321neo fleet will reach twelve aircraft. The penultimate, the eleventh specimen, is expected on Wednesday 16 July. of Transavia is reduced.
