Transavia celebrates 60 years with a retro livery

The first test flight of the new A321neo in the style of the 60s has been successfully completed: official arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol on 25 July with special flight HV1965, a tribute to the year of the company's foundation

Transavia's new Airbus A321neo has taken off for the first time, featuring an elegant retro livery inspired by the 60s, in homage to the Dutch company's 60th anniversary. The so-called "Flight 1" (F1) represents a fundamental phase of the testing process: a test flight performed by Airbus to verify the efficiency and safety of all on-board systems, from taxiing to landing.

During the test, Airbus technicians and pilots analyse every operational detail. After this first step, a second joint flight with the Transavia team will follow to replicate the controls and give the green light to the official delivery of the aircraft.
