Ryanair strengthens its presence in Veneto
Ryanair has announced a new upgrade for the 2025/2026 winter season with the addition of an additional aircraft based at Venice Airport. With this new entry, the company will have a total of six aircraft operating in Veneto: four in Venice and two in Treviso, for a total investment of 600 million dollars.
The winter schedule will include over 660 weekly flights spread over 62 routes that will connect Venice, Treviso and Verona to destinations in Italy and Europe. It is estimated that this expansion will bring passenger traffic in Veneto to over 7 million per year, while contributing to the creation and support of over 5,400 jobs in the sector, including 180 highly qualified pilots, flight attendants and technical staff.
As a testament to the growing demand from travellers, Ryanair will introduce more frequencies on 24 routes already in operation, including routes:
- from Venice to Barcelona, Dublin, Edinburgh and Copenhagen,
- from Treviso to Krakow, Marrakech and Prague.
The expansion of the offer aims to ensure greater flexibility, competitive fares and more options for passengers, strengthening Veneto's strategic role as a hub for tourism and business travel in Northern Italy.
