Ryanair from Milan Bergamo: new routes to Liverpool, Paphos, Rabat and Reggio Calabria
In winter 2026, four new connections and two additional aircraft based at Orio al Serio will arrive
Ryanair strengthens its presence at Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) for winter 2026 with two new based aircraft and four new routes to Liverpool, Paphos, Rabat and Reggio Calabria.
The addition of the two aircraft represents an incremental investment of $200 million and contributes to the overall growth of Ryanair's operations in Bergamo.
Bergamo's expansion is in fact part of a broader program which, between Milan Bergamo airport and Milan Malpensa airport, includes a total of 125 routes in winter 2026, including 10 new ones (6 from Malpensa and 4 from Bergamo), and 8.7 million seats, an increase of 11% compared to the previous season.
With the increase in the Bergamo-based fleet, Ryanair will bring the total number of aircraft based between the two Milan airports to 33, for a total investment estimated at $3.3 billion.
According to the company, the growth in supply will help support year-round traffic and tourism in Lombardy. Ryanair also estimates more than 16,200 local jobs supported by its operations in the area.
