Ryanair flies from Bologna to Castellón

Ryanair has inaugurated the Bologna-Castellón flight for summer 2026, expanding the international offer from Bologna Airport (BLQ) to Spain.

From 1 June, the route is operated with 4 weekly flights, offering Italian passengers a new direct connection to Castellón de la Plana, a destination on the Spanish east coast useful for reaching the territory of the Valencian Community, the seaside resorts of the Mediterranean and holiday itineraries between sea, culture and nature.

Castellón Airport is located in the northern part of the Valencian Community, a strategic access point for reaching some of the main tourist destinations on the Spanish coast and inland. In addition to Castellón de la Plana, Benicàssim, Vila-real, Oropesa del Mar, and Peñíscola can be reached in less than an hour, while Valencia can be reached in about an hour and a quarter.

For those departing from Bologna, Ryanair's new flight is a convenient option for organizing summer trips to Spain without intermediate stops. The frequency of four connections per week allows for greater flexibility in the choice of dates, both for short stays and for longer holidays.
