Ryanair expands its offer from Milan Malpensa for the summer
Ryanair has presented its 2026 summer program at Milan Malpensa Airport, announcing an expansion that consolidates the airport's role as a reference point for low-fare connections in Italy's main economic hub. The investment aims to improve the offer for both Lombard residents and international visitors to Milan.
For summer 2026, Ryanair's Malpensa schedule includes 9 aircraft based, with the addition of a Boeing 737-800, on a total of 49 routes, including four new connections to Edinburgh, Plovdiv, Tirana and Warsaw. The increase in capacity will allow the company to transport 6 million passengers per year, equal to a growth of 15%, supporting over 4,700 jobs between direct and induced employment.
To support the launch of the 2026 summer schedule from Malpensa, Ryanair has activated a promotion with fares starting from €29.99, valid for travel until September and already available through the company's official app.
The CEO of Ryanair, Eddie Wilson, remarked on the work carried out together with the teams of SEA, manager of Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), underlining how a competitive operating environment and high airport efficiency are essential to support traffic development, enhance national and international low-cost connections as well as encourage inbound tourism to Milan and Lombardy.
In parallel, Ryanair also illustrated its 2026 summer schedule from Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY). Overall, the airline's summer schedule on Milan includes 33 based aircraft and 156 routes overall, further strengthening the city's network of low-cost fare connections.
