Ryanair's flights from Bari and Brindisi for the summer
Ryanair launches summer 2026 operations at the Apulian airports of Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport (BRI) and Brindisi Airport (BDS) with a total network of 82 routes, including 3 new destinations from Bari to Bucharest, Bristol and Trapani-Marsala.
The offer will be supported by 5 aircraft based in Puglia – three in Bari and two in Brindisi – for a total investment estimated at 500 million dollars. The schedule aims to transport more than 7 million passengers a year, supporting more than 5,400 jobs in the region and strengthening tourism throughout the year.
New routes and more international connections
The news for summer 2026 concerns flights from Bari, which adds three new routes:
- Bristol, new option to the United Kingdom,
- Bucharest, strengthening connections with Eastern Europe,
- Trapani, expanding home connectivity.
With a total of 82 connections between Bari and Brindisi, Puglia consolidates its role as a strategic hub in Southern Italy, both for incoming traffic and for Apulian travellers heading to Europe.
22 years of presence in Puglia
Ryanair has been operating to and from Puglia for 22 years and has already carried over 60 million passengers in the region. The 2026 operational period represents a further step in the growth of regional air traffic, with positive effects in terms of employment and economic development. The investment in the five aircraft based in Bari and Brindisi strengthens operational stability and guarantees widespread programming throughout the summer season.
More tourism and accessibility for Puglia
The expansion of the network consolidates Puglia's position among the most attractive Italian destinations, encouraging the arrival of international tourists and improving accessibility to cities such as Bari and Brindisi, gateways to Salento, Valle d'Itria, Gargano and World Heritage Sites in Puglia.
