Ideal destinations for a city-break in Europe with Vueling
Amsterdam, Bilbao and Split are the destinations proposed by the company for a weekend trip in September, ideal for getting away from the routine after the summer holidays
For those who want to prolong the summer magic a bit, planning a trip in September, perhaps a short city-break, can be an excellent remedy against stress. For this reason, Vueling, part of the IAG group and which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year, recommends three ideal destinations in Europe for the month of September. These destinations are perfect for those looking for a weekend to spend with the family, an immersion in nature or an urban adventure to discover the secrets of a big city.

IN BILBAO WITH FAMILY AND CHILDREN
Bilbao fascinates with its old town, where you can stroll through the famous "Siete Calles". This city is ideal for families: you can explore it in a fun way with children along the Nervión River, paddling in kayaks, pedaling on water bikes or relaxing on a boat. Bilbao can also be visited by bicycle or on board the tourist buses, or from above thanks to the Artxanda Funicular. Among the attractions not to be missed is Puppy, a huge dog of over 12 meters covered in colorful flowers, which guards the famous Guggenheim Museum.

IN SPLIT TO IMMERSE YOURSELF IN NATURE
For nature lovers, Split in Croatia is a destination not to be missed. The town offers a turquoise sea and numerous islands to explore, such as Hvar, known for its liveliness, and Brač, famous for the Zlatni Rat beach, the "Golden Horn". The green hinterland of Split also holds surprises: the Krka National Park, with its seven majestic waterfalls, and the canyon of the Cetina River, ideal for rafting and rowing. Mt. Svilaja offers trekking with spectacular panoramic views of mountains, valleys and Lake Peruča, a true oasis of peace.
►In September, Vueling offers 5 weekly flights from Rome Fiumicino to easily reach Split from Italy.

IN AMSTERDAM FOR A CULTURAL TRIP TO THE CITY
For those who prefer the vibrant energy of a city, Amsterdam is a perfect choice. One of Europe's most fascinating cities, Amsterdam combines history, culture and modernity with a touch of innovation and sustainability. Its picturesque canals, which can be visited by boat or bicycle, offer a unique way to explore the city. There is no shortage of cultural stops, such as the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, the Royal Palace, the Nieuwe Kerk church and the Nationaal Monument.
