From Brindisi and Lamezia Terme you fly to Katowice

Wizz Air launches two new routes from Southern Italy to Poland with operations scheduled to start at the end of March 2026

Wizz Air expands its network in Italy by announcing the launch of two new direct flights to Katowice, a Polish city on the rise culturally. Starting from spring 2026, it will be possible to take off from both Brindisi and Lamezia Terme to the heart of Silesia, thus increasing travel opportunities between Southern Italy and Central Europe.

From 29 March 2026, Brindisi Airport (BDS) will be connected to Katowice with four weekly flights: every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. From Lamezia Terme airport (SUF) the new flight will be active from 31 March, with three weekly frequencies: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Tickets are already on sale. Both routes will be operated with Airbus A321neo, state-of-the-art aircraft that offer greater comfort, fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact, in line with Wizz Air's commitment to sustainable air mobility.

With the addition of the new routes from Brindisi and Lamezia Terme, Wizz Air's Italian routes to Katowice, already connected with Rome, Naples, Catania and Pisa, rise to six.
