Eurowings launches new premium seats

Debut in November 2025 for medium-haul flights: more space, privacy and comfort in the new business seats on board the Airbus A320neo, the first step in a major product and fleet renewal
Eurowings, the value airline of the Lufthansa Group, has announced the introduction of a new level of comfort for medium-haul flights: the Premium BIZ Seats, new generation business seats that will offer more space, privacy and quality even on single-aisle aircraft, such as the Airbus A320neo.

The launch is scheduled for November 2025 on the Berlin - Dubai route, with eight Premium BIZ seats for each aircraft, arranged in a 2x2 configuration and made by the Italian manufacturer Geven. The seats, equipped with reclining backrests, ergonomic design and ample padding, will mark a significant change from the traditional 3x3 economy class configuration.

Bookable from August on the airline's website, the new seats will be offered as upgrades within the BIZclass class, expanding the offer that already includes economy SMART and BASIC.

The introduction of the Premium BIZ Seat is the first step in a broader strategy of innovation and fleet renewal. From 2027, Eurowings will receive 40 new Boeing 737-8 MAXs, with a range of 6,500 km, while as early as 2025 further innovations are expected to arrive in terms of services and cabin design designed to improve comfort even on short and medium routes.
