Eurowings introduces the Premium Biz

The new 2x2 Premium BIZ cabin on Airbus A320neo debuts on the Berlin-Dubai flight: eight exclusive seats, new seat and enhanced on-board service

A first for the German air market: for the first time, a narrow-body aircraft operated a flight with a true premium 2x2 configuration, marking a radical change from traditional three-seat rows and paving the way for a new way of conceiving cabins on medium and potentially long-haul routes.

Eurowings has made this innovation a reality: on 22 November 2025, the new BIZ Premium Seat successfully completed its inaugural, sold-out flight on board an Airbus A320neo on the non-stop Berlin–Dubai route.

With the introduction of the Premium BIZ seat, Eurowings is elevating the medium-haul travel experience by offering a premium option designed for those who want more comfort, more privacy and dedicated service. The new proposal joins the BIZclass (free middle seat, more legroom), the SMART fares (optional extra space) and the BASIC Economy.

The new "Comoda" seat

The central element of the Premium BIZ is the "Comoda" seat, developed by the Italian manufacturer Geven and configured in Eurowings colours. Among the equipment: more personal space; adjustable leg rest; USB ports for charging; pillow, blanket, courtesy kit and hot towel; integrated cocktail table; dedicated storage compartment for headphones, books or tablets.

Enhanced in-flight service

The Premium BIZ service includes: welcome aperitif with walnuts or olives and sparkling wine; main meal in porcelain set (hot breakfast - sweet or savoury - with fruit salad and muesli on the way out, vegetarian or non-vegetarian dinner with salad and dessert on the way back; access to the entire WINGS Bistro menu.

Configuration and availability

On the Airbus A320neo, the Premium BIZ replaces the classic 2x3 layout with a wider 2x2, creating eight exclusive seats per aircraft. Eurowings, as a low-cost airline, thus offers an exceptional and currently unique product in Germany for this type of aircraft. The new cabin is initially available on the BerlinDubai route.
