Turkish Airlines launches new flights to Port Sudan
Turkish Airlines has inaugurated flights to Port Sudan, bringing the number of its destinations on the African continent to 63 and thus connecting more destinations in Africa than any other international airline.
Turkey's flag carrier will operate flights to Port Sudan from Istanbul with two weekly frequencies until September 29, and from this date with three weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
From September 17, 2025, Turkish Airlines will operate two weekly frequencies between Istanbul (IST) and Port Sudan (PZU):
- Flight TK 510: Departing Istanbul every Wednesday and Friday at 08:00 and arriving in Port Sudan at 11:05 (LMT times).
- Flight TK 511: Return from Port Sudan every Wednesday and Friday at 16:05, arriving in Istanbul at 21:05 (LMT).
From 29 September 2025, the route will be enhanced with three weekly connections:
- Flight TK 510: Departure from Istanbul every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 02:35, arriving in Port Sudan at 05:40 (LMT).
- Flight TK 511: Departure from Port Sudan every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 06:35, arriving in Istanbul at 11:35 (LMT).
