The Iberia Family Account
Iberia Club launches the Family Account which allows you to share Avios with more people and enjoy the benefits of the loyalty programme more easily. Each Iberia Club member will be able to create or join a Family Account and combine Avios into a single shared balance, designed to allow families, couples or friends to share trips and experiences.
Avios of up to seven people (one administrator and up to six members) can be combined into a single balance and accumulated collectively, regardless of each person's Iberia Club level. This makes it easier to reach the Avios you need to redeem them for flights or experiences, such as hotels and car rentals, or for cabin upgrades available through Iberia Club.
How to create and manage your Family Account
Any adult member of Iberia Club can create a Family Account and become its administrator. From their profile, they can send invitations, remove members, or close their account. The Family Account is activated when at least one of the invited members accepts the invitation.
To create one, simply log in to Iberia Club, access the Private Area and then "My Iberia Club", select "Family Account" and click on "Create Family Account". The administrator can invite up to six people who have an active Iberia Club or Iberia Kids account, regardless of their age or kinship.
Each member must remain in the Family Account for a minimum of 12 months. Avios earned by members are combined into a single shared balance and, once redeemed, are deducted proportionately from each member's balance. Avios in the Family Account do not expire if a member has Silver status or higher.
