Swiss resumes flights to Tel Aviv from Zurich
From 1 February 2025, the airline will operate daily flights between Switzerland and the Israeli metropolis with aircraft from the Airbus A320 family
After a careful assessment of the situation in the Middle East, SWISS and the Lufthansa Group airlines have decided to resume flight operations to and from Tel Aviv as of February 1, 2025. The airline will operate daily flights between Zurich and the Israeli metropolis using Airbus A320 Family aircraft for short-haul routes.
Until further notice, flights will be scheduled without overnight stops for crew from Zurich Airport. From February, Swiss will return to using Israeli airspace for transit flights, while Lebanese airspace will continue to be avoided. Air connections to and from Beirut remain temporarily suspended.
