SAS renews coffee on board with Lykke Coffee Farms

From February 2027, the new café will be introduced throughout the company's network and subsequently also in SAS lounges

SAS renews its on-board coffee offer thanks to a new partnership with Lykke Coffee Farms, a Scandinavian company specializing in the production and selection of coffee. The novelty will be introduced from February 2027 on the company's entire network and subsequently also in SAS lounges.

The new coffee has been developed specifically for the in-flight experience, taking into account the conditions at an altitude of around 10,500 metres, with the aim of improving one of the most everyday moments of the journey.

The collaboration also focuses on product traceability. Lykke works directly with farmers and production communities, without intermediaries, and SAS points in particular to the involvement of producers in Uganda, with a controlled supply chain from plantation to cup of coffee.

The project will not only concern the service on board. The new café will also be offered in the SAS lounges, while the complete concept developed by the two companies will be presented later in the year.

The partnership will also have a link with EuroBonus: SAS passengers will be able to accumulate points through purchases of coffee-based products made on the dedicated SAS Lykke platform.
For SAS, the agreement is part of the broader objective of improving the quality of the travel experience, introducing a product with a strong Scandinavian identity both in the air and on the ground.
