The first refurbished Airbus A380 will enter service in the coming months with new seats in Economy and Premium Economy, 106 Club Suites in Business and a new First Class

British Airways has unveiled new cabins for its Airbus A380 fleet, which will be progressively renewed with redesigned interiors and new seats in all classes of travel. The first upgraded A380 is expected to enter service in the coming months.

The new configuration includes 12 seats in First Class, 106 in Club World, 84 in World Traveller Plus and 215 in World Traveller, distributed over the two decks of the aircraft.

In World Traveller, Economy Class, wider seats, larger entertainment screens and new cushions and blankets will arrive. World Traveller Plus, Premium Economy, will also be renewed with larger displays, side elements to increase privacy, new cushions, bedding and toiletries.

The most important transformation of Club World concerns the upper deck, which will house 106 Club Suites divided into four zones. The new suites will offer more storage space for personal items and will be flanked by redesigned relaxation areas and on-board kitchens.

First Class is also completely new, with suites designed to increase comfort and privacy. In the central seats, the partition can be opened to create a shared space for those traveling together, while each suite will also be equipped with a personal minibar.

The revamp also includes in-flight service. British Airways introduces a new dining experience in First Class, new resting products and new toiletries, while the interiors of the entire aircraft, including galleys and stairs, will be updated according to the airline's new design language. The programme is part of British Airways ' wider investment plan dedicated to improving the passenger experience, which also includes new aircraft, technology and the renovation of Heathrow lounges.
