Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines partnership
Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines announce a new strategic partnership that strengthens connections between Doha and Manila and expands access to an extensive international network. As of June 16, 2025, Philippine Airlines will introduce a daily direct flight between the two capitals, operated by Airbus A330-300 configured in two classes, with 18 seats in Business Class and 341 in Economy.
Through the codeshare agreement, Qatar Airways will share the seven weekly flights operated by Philippine Airlines in the first phase of the collaboration. Passengers departing from Manila will thus be able to easily connect with over 170 destinations served by Qatar Airways in Africa, the Americas, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East, while conveniently transiting through Hamad International Airport (DOH), awarded by Skytrax as the best airport in the Middle East in 2025.
The flight from Manila (PR684) will depart daily at 18:50 and arrive in Doha at 23:40. The return (PR685) will take off from Doha at 01:30 and land in Manila at 16:15.
Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are also exploring new areas of cooperation, including code-share expansion, joint promotion of destinations and mutual integration of frequent flyer programmes.
