An exclusive menu for a unique gastronomic journey
The new menu, designed for Premium Economy and Economy passengers, offers a selection of typical Hong Kong dishes on long-haul flights and some regional routes, including China, Japan and Thailand
Among the delights provided, Premium Economy passengers will be able to start with a refined appetizer of smoked duck breast served with pickled vegetables and galangal, inspired by the traditional braised duck Chiu Chow, but revisited with a balance of sweetness and acidity. As a main course, braised beef with chu hou sauce stands out, served with choy sum and steamed jasmine rice, a classic comfort food of Cantonese cuisine characterized by rich and intense flavors thanks to the sauce made from fermented soybean paste.

From Italy, Cathay Pacific offers direct flights to Hong Kong from Rome Fiumicino Airport (from 5 June 2025) or Milan Malpensa Airport .
