New luxury cabins for Swiss

New First and Business Class seats unveiled for the Airbus A350, which will debut on the intercontinental route to Boston starting in winter

SWISS has unveiled the new First and Business Class cabins of its innovative "SWISS Senses" concept at Zurich Airport (ZRH), which will be introduced this autumn on board the new Airbus A350-900 to offer a personalised, comfortable and immersive travel experience in all classes of service.

This is the largest product investment ever made in the airline's history. Boston will be the first intercontinental destination to receive the new A350 from winter 2025/2026, with flights already bookable from 1 January 2026.

Following the delivery of the first A350-900, expected in October, the aircraft will initially be deployed to European destinations before entering long-haul service. It will also be the first in the SWISS intercontinental fleet to feature the new SWISS Senses cab that engages all the senses.

A new concept of comfort in all classes

The design of the new cabins has been completely rethought, with warm tones and precious materials that recall Swiss elegance. First Class suites and some Business Class seats introduce a fully enclosed layout for the first time to ensure maximum privacy.

Another distinctive element is the "human-centric" lighting, designed to promote the well-being of passengers and reduce the effects of jet lag. All classrooms will also be equipped with a state-of-the-art entertainment system with larger screens and the ability to connect your personal devices.

First Class: elegance and absolute privacy

The new First Class suites offer an unprecedented level of privacy thanks to sliding doors, a large personal table, air-conditioned seats, a wireless charging station and a panoramic screen. You can also configure the central suite for two passengers travelling together. The environment is made even more welcoming by the wooden details and warm tones. The First Class bathroom was inspired by the famous thermal spring of Vals, with dark coatings on the outside and the interior in aqua green, in homage to the freshness of the spring water.

Business Class: more options and freedom of choice

The new Business cab offers different configurations to meet every need: seats with direct access to the aisle, some of which have a sliding door for greater privacy. All seats convert into fully horizontal beds from 2 to 2.2 meters and include seat climate control, wireless charging and quality materials for a refined and comfortable environment.

Premium Economy: comfort confirmed

The popular Premium Economy maintains its high standard, with spacious seats, a pitch of almost one meter and an on-board service with attention to detail. A class that continues to set new standards in the industry.

Economy Class: space, technology and functionality

Economy passengers will also enjoy tangible improvements thanks to a more ergonomic and functional seat design, more space, high-definition screens over 13 inches, Bluetooth connection and USB ports for the use of personal devices.

All of Swiss' new Airbus A350-900s will be delivered already equipped with the SWISS Senses cabin, which will later also be introduced on the Boeing 777-300ERs and Airbus A330-300s already in the fleet, renewing the entire flight experience.
