New flights between Nice and Los Angeles with Air France

The airline inaugurates special direct connections between Hollywood and the French Riviera to celebrate the Cannes Film Festival and the F1 Monaco Grand Prix

As a long-standing partner of the Cannes Film Festival, Air France is introducing special flights between Los Angeles (USA) and Nice (France) again this year in May 2025. This initiative represents a unique opportunity for passengers from the American West Coast to reach the French Riviera on the occasion of the prestigious film festival and the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco.

Flight schedule (local times)

May 12, 2025: Flight AF041 – departs Los Angeles at 1:15 p.m., arrives in Nice at 9:40 a.m. the next day.
26 May 2025: Flight AF040 – departs Nice at 13:55, arriving in Los Angeles at 16:55 the same day.

Spring on the Côte d'Azur with Air France

Flights between Los Angeles and Nice will be operated with Airbus A350s, equipped with the airline's most advanced travel cabins.

Business Class: Fully reclining seats up to 2 metres, with sliding door for total privacy.
Premium Economy: seats that recline up to 121°, with a 48 cm wide seat for greater comfort.
Economy Class: ergonomic seats with a recline of 119° and legroom of 79 cm.

All cabins have onboard Wi-Fi and individual HD touch screens, ideal for movie lovers who can enjoy a wide selection of movies during the flight. The Airbus A350 is the flagship of Air France's long-haul fleet: it allows a 25% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to previous generation aircraft and decreases the noise impact by 40%, thus reinforcing the company's commitment to greater sustainability.

Special flights to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

Air France will also operate four special flights between New York-JFK and Nice on the occasion of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, which will be held from June 16 to 20, 2025. These flights will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER.

Flight schedule (local times)

June 14 and 15, 2025: Flight AF043 – departure from New York JFK at 4:35 p.m., arriving in Nice at 6:30 a.m. the next day.
June 19 and 20, 2025: Flight AF042 – departs Nice at 11:55 a.m., arriving in New York JFK at 2:40 p.m. the same day.

Expansion of flights to the United States in summer 2025

For the 2025 summer season, Air France is expanding its flight offer to the United States with the addition of a new direct Paris-Charles de Gaulle - Orlando (Florida) route. In total, the airline will operate 18 destinations in the United States and 25 in North America, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver.
