New flight from Dubai to Bhairahawa in Nepal with flydubai

From 10 November 2024, a daily service to Bhairahawa, the carrier's second destination in Nepal, after Kathmandu. Return flight to Dubai stops in Kathmandu

flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, is introducing a new daily flight to Gautam Buddha International Airport (BWA) in Bhairahawa, effective November 10, 2024. The new route, operated from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), will offer a connection to a new gateway to Nepal, while return flights to Dubai will stop in Kathmandu, responding to the growing demand for flights between Dubai and Nepal.

The new daily flight from Dubai to Bhairahawa lands at Nepal's second international airport, located in Lumbini province, historically known as the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Flights to Gautam Buddha International Airport (BWA) will operate daily from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB), with the possibility of connecting to Emirates thanks to a codeshare agreement on this route.

Since the launch of its first flight to Kathmandu in 2009, flydubai has carried over three million passengers between the UAE and Nepal, contributing to the development of tourism and trade between the two nations. Recently, the airline has expanded its international network to include new destinations such as Basel (Switzerland), Islamabad and Lahore (Pakistan), and Iranian locations such as Kerman and Kish Island.
