Lufthansa Group adds extra flights to Africa and Asia
The Lufthansa Group is expanding its long-haul offering with a number of additional flights to Asia and Africa, in response to the increase in bookings made at short notice.
The new frequencies involve Lufthansa Airlines and Austrian Airlines and are already available on all official sales channels.
New frequencies from Munich and Frankfurt
Lufthansa Airlines introduces:
- 4 additional round-trip flights from Munich Airport to Singapore,
- 2 special return flights from Frankfurt Airport to Cape Town,
- 2 extra flights from Frankfurt to Riyadh.
The new frequencies strengthen intercontinental connectivity from German hubs to some of the most popular destinations of the moment.
Vienna–Bangkok: 10 special flights
Austrian Airlines is also expanding its schedule with 10 special round-trip flights from Vienna Airport to Bangkok, intercepting strong demand to Southeast Asia.
For passengers, the inclusion of extra flights offers more availability on long-haul routes that are in high demand, especially for those who book early. The Lufthansa Group continues to monitor market developments and plans further updates if demand so requires.
For Travellers departing from Germany and Austria to Asia and Africa, the new frequencies represent an additional opportunity to plan departures in the coming weeks with greater flexibility.
