ITA Airways resumes Rome-Tel Aviv flights
ITA Airways resumes direct flight between Rome Fiumicino and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion from 1 July 2026. The route will be operated with two daily frequencies, offering passengers more possibilities for travel between Italy and Israel and connections via Rome to the company's domestic, international and intercontinental network.
The first daily flight, AZ806, will depart Rome Fiumicino at 09:10 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 13:30 local time. The return, AZ807, will take off from Tel Aviv at 2:30 pm and arrive at Rome Fiumicino at 5:15 pm.
On Thursday there will be a slight change in schedule: flight AZ806 will depart from Rome at 09:30 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 13:50, while flight AZ807 will take off from Tel Aviv at 14:50 and land in Rome at 17:35.
The second daily frequency will be operated in the evening and at night. Flight AZ810 will depart Rome Fiumicino at 22:50 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 03:10 the following day. The return, AZ809, will depart Tel Aviv at 05:15 and arrive at Rome Fiumicino at 08:00.
The schedules have been scheduled to facilitate connections through the Rome hub (Fiumicino), allowing passengers departing from Tel Aviv to continue to other destinations served by ITA Airways and, at the same time, offering Italian Travellers a direct connection to Israel via Ben Gurion Airport.
ITA Airways' Rome-Tel Aviv route will be operated with Airbus A321neo, a new generation narrow-body aircraft configured with three classes of service: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. On board, passengers will find interiors inspired by Italian design, fully flat Business Class seats, advanced lighting and a 4K in-flight entertainment system. The Airbus A321neo also offers operational efficiency and sustainability benefits, with fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions per seat more than 20% lower than previous-generation aircraft.
