flydubai expands summer network from Dubai

From June, 11 seasonal routes will integrate with the airline's established destinations, such as Georgia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Thailand, expanding summer travel opportunities for passengers departing from DXB

flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, has announced the expansion of its summer seasonal network, which will reach 11 tourist destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia this year.

Starting June 4, 2025, passengers will be able to fly to some of the most popular summer destinations, thanks to a schedule that includes the launch of two new routes, Al Alamein in Egypt and Antalya in Turkey.

Flights to Antalya will operate daily from 5 June departing from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and arriving at Antalya International Airport (AYT).

Connections to Al Alamein will start on 21 June, again on a daily basis, from Dubai International Airport to Al Alamein International Airport (DBB). With these new destinations, travelers departing from Dubai or other cities in the flydubai network will be able to easily reach both the renowned Turkish Riviera and Egypt's famous northern Al Sahel coast.

In addition to Al Alamein and Antalya, customers will be able to choose from 9 other seasonal summer destinations : Batumi, Bodrum, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Olbia, Santorini, Tivat and Trabzon, ideal destinations for those who want a mix of relaxation, culture and fun during the warmer months.

The seasonal summer network is active from June to September. The flights will be operated by the flydubai fleet, which includes the latest modernized aircraft and the all-new Boeing 737 MAX 8, which entered service in April 2025.

The 11 seasonal routes complement flydubai's established destinations such as Georgia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Thailand, expanding summer travel opportunities for passengers departing from Dubai.

The airline also continues to see growing demand for Business Class, with a 20% increase in Business Class passengers in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year. flydubai expects to maintain this positive trend during the summer, thanks to the launch of the new Business Class check-in area and the flydubai Business Class Lounge at Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB), confirming the quality and attractiveness of its premium offering.

With the launch of the new flight to Antalya, flydubai expands its network in Turkey to six destinations, including Ankara (ESB), Bodrum (BJV), Istanbul Airport (IST), Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) and Trabzon (TZX).

The introduction of flights to Al Alamein , on the other hand, marks a record. flydubai is the first airline in the United Arab Emirates to operate daily direct flights between Dubai and Al Alamein, a new tourist resort on Egypt's northern coast.
