Emirates expands global connections via Dubai
Thanks to agreements with Vietnam Airlines and VietJet, the company strengthens connecting flights from Dubai to Vietnam
Emirates has signed two important Memorandums of Understanding with Vietnam Airlines and VietJet to improve passenger access to the Vietnam and UAE markets by expanding connections on domestic and international routes. The first agreement with Vietnam Airlines, consolidating a partnership that has been active since 1994, includes the possibility of mutual loyalty benefits and collaborations in cargo services. With VietJet, Emirates will explore synergies to expand regional offering via Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, giving VietJet customers access to Emirates' global network from Dubai.
Vietnam represents a strategic destination in Asia for its value in terms of trade and tourism, in line with Emirates' strategy to expand its presence in key markets. The agreement comes in the context of increased demand and a new daily flight scheduled between Dubai and Ho Chi Minh City from January 15, 2025, ahead of the Lunar New Year celebrations.
These agreements allow those traveling to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang to take advantage of connecting flights via Dubai, simplifying itineraries to regional and international destinations. Customers will enjoy an integrated experience that combines the networks of Emirates and major Vietnamese airlines, with access to over 150 global destinations.
