Emirates is celebrating Germany's famous Oktoberfest folk festival with a wide range of traditional Bavarian dishes and themed entertainment on flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, as well as in lounges at German airports, from 21 September to 6 October.
 
Passengers will be able to enjoy a special menu in all classes of flight that includes starters, main courses and desserts inspired by Bavarian cuisine, as well as typical snacks and sweets served in the iconic A380 onboard lounge. On board flights from Dubai to Germany, First and Business Class passengers will be able to start with appetizers such as potato and leek soup, beef consommé and asparagus salad with dried meat and quail eggs. The main course includes roast beef tenderloin with stewed red cabbage and bread dumplings, accompanied by typical bread. Desserts include Kaiserschmarren with plum compote for First Class and apple pie with custard for Business Class. In Economy, the menu features cheese and turkey salad, paprika chicken with potatoes and sauerkraut, and almond and honey cake.

On return flights from Germany to Dubai, First and Business Class passengers will be able to enjoy pumpkin soup, a plate of cold cuts and cheeses, and braised veal shank with mashed potatoes and red cabbage, followed by apple strudel. In Economy, German potato salad, baked chicken with paprika cream and broccoli will be served.
 
In the A380 onboard lounge, passengers will be able to delight in sandwiches, pretzels and sweets such as ginger biscuits, black forest cake and German cheesecake. Before landing, passengers will be offered complimentary gingerbread cookies decorated in an Oktoberfest theme.
 
Emirates will celebrate Oktoberfest on three daily flights from Dubai to Frankfurt and two daily flights to Munich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, providing an authentic and immersive experience for all passengers travelling to these destinations in Germany.
