Emirates and Uber team up for a seamless journey

Air Freight & Urban Mobility: Uber rides to and from the airport for a complete and seamless experience right from your front door, and loyalty benefits for passengers

Emirates and Uber have announced a new strategic alliance to transform the travel experience, making it more integrated and seamless, from take-off to the front door. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that marks the beginning of a collaboration aimed at simplifying the ground travel of Emirates passengers and offering exclusive benefits to members of the Skywards loyalty programme.

Through this partnership, travellers will be able to access combined services that combine flight booking with Uber transfers, enhancing the overall experience in key markets across the Emirates network. Among the initiatives under development, there is also the introduction of Uber vouchers integrated into Emirates bookings and the possibility, for selected customers, to receive rides to and from the airport already included in the ticket.

The agreement also includes the expansion of Skywards programme opportunities, with passengers able to earn Miles using Uber in the UAE and, in the future, in other cities covered by the Emirates network. Miles can be redeemed for travel credits or vouchers that can be redeemed directly on the Uber app.

Finally, the collaboration also looks at logistics, with the exploration of solutions for "last mile" delivery via Emirates Courier Express, taking advantage of the technology and capillarity of the Uber network. Emirates and Uber's common goal is to create a connected mobility ecosystem, where every journey is simpler, smarter and more personalized
