Egyptair celebrates the international day of persons with disabilities

Commitment and services to ensure accessible and inclusive tourism, breaking down barriers and prejudices in travel
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3rd), Egyptair renews its commitment to ensure an accessible and comfortable travel experience. With dedicated services and trained staff, the Egyptian flag carrier aims to eliminate physical and cultural barriers, promoting more inclusive tourism.

According to data from the World Health Organization, about 1.3 billion people live with a significant disability, representing 16% of the global population. In Italy, the numbers are just as significant, with over 3.1 million people with disabilities. Despite this, only a minority manage to fully enjoy their free time, including travel, often due to physical, logistical or cultural obstacles.
