Direct Rome-Minneapolis flight for the summer with Delta
Delta Air Lines strengthens its offer from Italian airports with the announcement of a new nonstop flight between Rome Fiumicino and Minneapolis/St. Paul, operational from 24 May 2025. The new seasonal flight operates four times a week, giving passengers departing from Italy direct access to one of the main hubs in the US Midwest.
The connection is operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 282 seats, configured in four classes of service. All customers can enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi and Delta Studio service for movies, music and on-demand content.

Minneapolis becomes the fifth destination served by Delta from Rome, after New York (JFK), Atlanta, Boston and Detroit. Minneapolis/St. Paul, the airline's second largest U.S. hub after Atlanta, is a strategic gateway to continue travel to more than 100 destinations in North America, thanks to Delta's extensive domestic network.

To mark 100 years of the airline, which was founded in 1925, Delta has opened Delta One Lounges in New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Seattle, offering an exclusive welcome even before boarding. Among the 2025 novelties, there is also the introduction of the Delta Concierge, an advanced digital assistant based on artificial intelligence, integrated into the Fly Delta app, and a new cloud-based entertainment system in collaboration with YouTube.
During the 2025 peak summer season, Delta will operate up to 110 weekly flights between Italy and the U.S., including connections from Rome Fiumicino, Milan, Venice, Naples and Catania.
